Alset Tours’ Vision
Like Elon Musk and countless young minds—Kevin was inspired to study science by the genius of Nikola Tesla and penned an early paper discussing 1970’s era photo-voltaics (PV) as the dawning of Tesla’s vision of plentiful, natural electricity: freely-accessible to all. Tesla Tours is the culmination of Kevin's vision that the Physics of the Earth & Sun can power a sustainable world of travel and discovery humming with potential.
Alset Tours are driven and personally-guided by Kevin's team of professional drivers & long-time local, natural history buffs, who love to 'talk rocks' & share travel adventures across Europe and the Americas, leading both large & small scientific field trips and casual tours to the natural wonders of Iceland, Hawaii, Ireland, the UK and continental Europe.
Alset Tours is based in Victoria, BC, beside Beacon Hill Park & just steps from scenic Dallas Road, perfectly situated to explore the gardens of Victoria, the culture of Saanich, and the countless natural wonders of Vancouver Island within the lush coastal rain-forest just west of Vancouver, BC.
Since its installation in June 2015, Alset Tours’ original 18-panel 4.5 kW solar PV array has generated over 30 MWh of electricity: plenty of power to tour over 100,000 km, offsetting over 12 tonnes of CO2 emissions: the equivalent of planting about 40 trees. Our new 22-panel 9.5 kW solar PV array was installed at our new acreage in June 2021 and has already generated over 10 MWh of electricity: plenty of power to tour over 30,000 km, offsetting over 4 tonnes of CO2 emissions: the equivalent of planting about 13 trees.
