COVID-19 Statement
--
Dear Customers and Friends,
We want to assure you that Alset Tours is taking the COVID-19 virus situation very seriously and implementing a number of preemptive precautions to ensure that our guests’ and our staff’s safety continues to be our top priority. Thank you for your continued support as we navigate the COVID-19 crisis.
Firstly, we have suspended all Alset Tours prior to 01 March 2021. We do not intend to dismiss or minimize the situation in any way, yet many small wineries and other craft providers rely on services like ours to deliver customers and market exposure. It's crucial that we continue to accept advance bookings for dates later this spring and summer, planning ahead to be prepared to resume services once the situation normalizes, as is already the case in many Asian countries. To ensure that our guests feel confident when they book tours, we have relaxed our 48-hour cancellation policy until the situation is resolved so that anyone who needs to change their plans can do so without hesitation at any time.
Like many other local businesses, we are thinking outside the box and doing our utmost to support both our guests and our closest partners. We are working to contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of goods between our partners and their customers, and we regularly donate services to local charities, gifting thousands of dollars worth of tours each year to benefit local hospitals, schools, family & childrens' organizations. With 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of our sales to charities advancing environmental stewardship.
In addition to our trademark spotless vehicle detailing, we have implemented measures to exceed the recommendations put forward by Health Canada by disinfecting all interior surfaces of our vehicles prior to each tour and providing hand sanitizer to both passengers and staff.
We never combine groups or run back-to-back tours in the same vehicle. Private, small-group and scenic transfer services in Tesla vehicles represent the safest option for touring Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and the Lower Mainland. Tesla vehicles are equipped with revolutionary air-filtration systems including Bioweapons Defense Mode (not a joke), which is capable of reducing airborne toxins and pollutants below detectable levels.
In addition to these extra precautions, staff and guests are strongly encouraged to follow the advice of public health officials: wash your hands often with soap and water, cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, avoid others who are unwell, and stay home when feeling sick.

Alset Tours will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates to guests as necessary. Should anyone have any questions, we ask they please ask any of our team members or contact us at 1.877.789.8752 (TSLA) or safety@teslatours.ca
In the meantime, on behalf of everyone at Alset Tours, our thoughts are with you and your loved ones during this difficult time—we’re all in this together! Thank you for supporting local during #COVID-19.
Sincerely,
Kevin Bélanger
